  • Court Cost Increase in NC

    Well, they have done it again. Court costs have now increased to $170 for infraction cases, and 172 for criminal cases. The state gave no notice of this. The clerk of court was told on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 to increase the court costs by this dramatic amount effective Friday, July 1, 2011. Several other chages also came about as a result of this midnight hour bill. I will go into more of those in future posts. There are several problems...
